St. Catherine’s School strives to involve and engage all pupils in a variety of different activities during the school year. We recognise the importance of pupils being encouraged to develop their talents and skills in all areas.
Wellbeing
Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do in our school.
Through the Amber Flag Initiative, we promote positivity, kindness, and mental health awareness.
Our Zones of Regulation help students understand and manage their emotions every day.
The Wellbeing and Active Committee works together to create fun, healthy, and inclusive activities for all.
We strive to make our school a happy, supportive, and caring place for everyone.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math’s)
At our school, STEM learning inspires curiosity and innovation every day.
Students explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through hands-on projects and real-world challenges.
From coding to designing experiments, they learn by doing and thinking creatively.
Collaboration and problem-solving are at the heart of every activity.
STEM at our school builds skills for the future!
Diversity & Inclusion
Our school celebrates diversity and inclusion every day.
We value the unique backgrounds, languages, and traditions that make our community so special.
Each year, Culture Week showcases music, food, art, and stories from around the world.
Our Diversity Committee works to ensure everyone feels respected, represented, and valued.
Together, we learn that our differences make us stronger and our school a better place to belong.
Green Schools
We are very involved in the Green Schools Programme run by An Taisce. We have a Green Schools Committee which is made up of a number of pupils from each class, who meet regularly to work on the seven steps of the Green Schools Programme. We continue to work towards our next flag.
